Skills Group

Most of our volunteers do not have any prior Police or Law Enforcement experience. There are some however who do come to us after having retired from either a Police Department, the State Attorney’s office or some other profession related to law enforcement.

There are also some volunteers who come to us with some unique skill, and who fit into a very select part of our organization.. such as the bagpipers and drummers who make up an integral part of our Police Honor Guard.

These “Skills Group” volunteer generally fall into two categories:

– Chaplaincy volunteers
– Detective Division volunteers
– Honor Guard volunteers
