Members of the Palm Beach Gardens Police Reserves, part of our Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) were on hand last Friday night to assist with the Safety and Sobriety Checkpoint. Also assisting were members of the Police Explorer Post and the Citizens Mobile Patrol.

Reserve Police Officers are citizen volunteers who devote their valuable time and effort towards creating a safer community.
Our Reserve Police Officers wear the same uniform and badge that full-time police officers wear. On a part-time basis, they perform many of the same duties and functions that a full-time officer does.
